Practical info

Who is it for?

The monthly workshop is suitable for a variety of people including prospective employees from outside the EU who have just landed a position with a company based in Ireland and employers who have found their ideal candidate outside the EU. It is also a useful introduction for HR professionals operating in the immigration sphere, and for Accountants and Legal Professionals who require a good knowledge of the Immigration and Employment Permit systems in Ireland in order to brief their clients. Although primarily a practical course, it provides a good grounding in how the immigration and employment permit systems operate together.

Workshop Cost

The workshop usually runs for up to four hours and caters for 6 participants, although this may vary as each workshop is tailor-made. Cost is dependent on the number of participants. Please complete the form below indicating the name of the contact person, and giving contact details. We will contact you to discuss your needs and once the details of the course is finalised, invoices will be sent out and all course fees are payable in advance.

Where will it take place?

Following the arrival of Covid19 and the change in the way we all do business, workshops were provided by teleconference. They still follow the same programme but were delivered to your desktop instead. This allows us to ensure the appropriate social distance while still allowing you to develop your knowledge. As usual, the workshop sessions will be tailored to the individual learners needs and can be delivered as a series of shorter elements to suit work/life needs of participants.

At this stage, and when conditions allow, workshops will be arranged in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Limerick, depending on demand. Get in touch for more information on specific regions. In general, locations and directions for each workshop will be available here closer to the workshop dates but will be in central locations and easily accessible such as the Iconic meeting spaces in Dublin.

What to bring?

As with the physical workshops that took place over the last 18 months, the virtual workshops will revolve around your laptop/computer and you should ensure that yours is fully charged. If you have decided to work on a real application, please ensure that you have permission to show the details of the application to the workshop tutor. Alternatively, you will be provided with an example of an application form to input on your laptop that will incorporate elements to challenge you!

How to enroll?

Please fill in the form below, indicating your preferred time and hit submit. The course tutor will then call you to find out a little bit more about your knowledge requirements. This will be followed up with an invoice for payment prior to the workshop date.
