It’s been a busy summer in the employment permit and immigration space with changes to both systems to make it easier to access employment permits, visas and residency permission. However, as of last week, the employment permit system is still taking 12 weeks to process Standard applications, and 3 weeks to process Trusted Partner applications. With the pinch in the labour market, it’s more important than ever to know the difference between a permit and a visa, and how to apply for a permit, getting it right first time.
We’ll be hosting a workshop in Dublin on 11 September. Returning to No 9, Pembroke Street, the workshop starts at 2pm and covers recent changes to both employment permits system and the immigration system before turning to the more practical aspects of making an employment permit.
